Nominating Organizations

Nomination Process

  • The nomination process starts when an Albers Team Member identifies an opportunity to support their local community by emailing nominate@alberscommunity.org.
  • Nominations are reviewed during the monthly Albers Community Board meeting, where each submission is scored based on key criteria to determine eligibility and the potential      donation amount.
  • If approved, the nominating team member will be notified of the decision, and funds will be distributed within 30 days of approval.

Scoring Criteria

  • Nominations are evaluated based on the following:

    • Growth Potential – Possibility of an ongoing or expanded relationship

  • Eligible organizations must:
    • Be a registered 501(c)(3) charity
    • Be eligible to receive tax-deductible donations
    • Preferably be a local charity or affiliate (priority over national organizations)
